When you schedule your appointment with Alpha Center, you will be meeting with one of our registered nurses. 

Leasa, Director of Nursing

Leasa received her RN from St. Luke's College of Nursing in Iowa in 2007 and her BS in Nursing from Dordt College in Iowa in 2008. She is originally from Pella, Iowa and moved to Northern Colorado with her family after spending 7 years working in critical care as a nurse. She joined the Alpha Center team in 2015 and is our current Nurse Manager.

Melissa, Nurse Manager

Melissa received her RN from Everett Community College in Washington State in 2010 and her BS in Nursing from the University of Washington in 2014. Originally from Washington State, she moved to Fort Collins with her family in pursuit of sunshine. She has 7 years of experience working in emergency nursing in WA and CO. She joined the Alpha Center team in 2017 as a staff nurse.

Amanda, Staff Nurse

A Colorado native, Amanda went to nursing school at the University of Colorado at Denver, graduating in 2012 with her BS in Nursing. Prior to that, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated in 2009 with her bachelor's in psychology. She spent her first five years in nursing working in acute care for spinal cord injury rehabilitation at Craig Hospital. She started at Alpha Center in February 2016.

Laura, Staff Nurse

Laura grew up in a military family ending up in Colorado Springs during her high school years. She attended Oral Roberts University for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (1982 grad) and earned her Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University Metro College (1987). She was an Army OR Nurse in San Antonio and Germany and has worked in a variety of capacities during her nursing career. She has been married for 31 years and has 4 adult children. Laura has been at the Alpha Center since September 2017.
